Week 4 Winter/Spring 2012 Puget Sound Table Tennis

Hey everyone, Just headed out to league tonight. I’m excited to give all the trophies away to our winners for last season! Here are last week’s results…

Nice to have JD back and kicking some tail… 4 & 0!

Trophies Are HERE!

Hey everyone! I’m happy to announce that all of the trophies have arrived and look great! For some reason, every time we had awards in the past I was always waiting for 3rd place trophies as well. So this year, we’ll be doing awards for:

Group 1, Group 2, Group 3

1st place
2nd place
3rd place

A few things:

LET’S ALL ATTEND NEXT TUESDAY‘s Table Tennis League at Puget Sound Table Tennis Club so that we can have the biggest night yet! We’ll be starting earlier at 6:45p so that we can get awards done before league starts.

DON’T MISS YOUR AWARD! I would hate to have an award for someone and have them not get it because they couldn’t make it. No we won’t give it away to someone else but there was a situation were we had a member that received a trophy and didn’t know about it. It eventually sat so long that it was taken by someone (who knows why someone would want a table tennis trophy with some other person’s name on it).

LEAGUE PLAY REMINDERS:

Just as a reminder to everyone, please stick to playing on the tables that are assigned to your group. We all know that if a person falls into group 2 or 3 they still want to play on the “nice butterfly tables”. I’ve been working hard to find a way to raise money to buy more tables so that EVERYONE can play on high quality tables. But until that time please stick to playing on your assigned tables for your group so that league can continue to run smoothly.

Also, please be on time and play your matches in order as listed on the score sheet so that we don’t have 2 or even 3 people sitting out. Even if that means waiting for just a minute for someone to get done filling up their water bottle or using the restroom. If everyone makes an effort to be mindful of the order of match play then we can finish our matches a lot faster and avoid missed matches.

Thank you EVERYBODY for your ongoing support and helping make PSTTC a TT hub in the south end. You all feel like family and it’s a pleasure to be able to give awards to our members!

See You All This TUESDAY!
